After graduating from Cambridge University with a BA(Hons) degree in English (2:1), I have since had 8 years teaching experience, most recently 6 years in a large prep school in Oxford. I have an independent PGCE in English from the University of [contact detail removed].

I have experience preparing pupils for Common Entrance (13+ and 11+), Scholarship entry exams, KS2, KS3, and have also tutored GCSE and A-Level pupils.

I am DBS approved and have had a pastoral role in the schools I have taught in. I am committed to helping pupils thrive through the learning and enjoyment of their lessons.

I seek to make tutorials fun and enjoyable whilst being intellectually rigorous. My priority is getting the best out of my pupils, giving them confidence in their English as well as the necessary tools to thrive in their learning and in exam techniques.
