I am a fully qualified Science Teacher and AQA Examiner, currently employed at an `Outstanding` Secondary school in Buckinghamshire. I hold a PGCE in Secondary Sciences from the world number 1 Institute of Education (UCL), and a 1st Class Honours degree in Biomedical Science. I also have experience within the research industry carrying out doctoral research for Diabetes UK, in addition to 6 years tutoring experience.

I am a bright, enthusiastic and ‘young at heart’ teacher, always experimenting and trying out the newest creative teaching techniques to engage my students and build the excellent relationships I have with them. I choose to tutor in addition to my normal teaching job as my passion extends beyond the classroom – and one on one sessions are particularly valuable in achieving excellent progression in Science.

I am able to tutor Biology, Chemistry and Physics up to GCSE and Biology A-Level.

I am willing to travel to students or carry out the sessions at my house.

Availability: Weekday evenings 6pm onwards and Sundays.

Mark Schemes
Revision materials
Homework sheets
Hand outs/revision notes

Experience: Qualified teacher, having taught in the state sector. Experience tutoring with lots of good quality resources to either coach students through the exam season or to the general Science curriculum (key stage 2, 3 and 5)

Experience with a wide range of exam boards including:
Edexcel
AQA
OCR

Having worked in pupil referral units and a wide variety of schools, I have lots of SEN teaching experience including ASD, EBD and ADHD. I am more than happy to help and support any kind of pupil and tailor their sessions accordingly :)
