Monday: Able to travel to local areas in Gloucester on a Monday afternoon for a 4:00-5:00 session.

Monday- Wednesday 7:15 -8:15/ 7:30-8:30

Thursday:Able to travel to local areas in Gloucester on a Thursday evening for a 4:45-5:45 session.

Weekends can be requested and arranged also.

Experience: I am a trained secondary school teacher who has a variety of experience with upper key stage 2 - key stage 5.
I have specialised in both upper key stage 2 and key stage 3 English.

I have a strong understanding of the grammar exam and content and hope to prepare students fully. I have an excellent reputation for helping students exceed and build upon their end of year 6 results once transitioning to secondary. I have an extensive knowledge of both primary and secondary curriculum which has proven invaluable in my role as head of year.

I have worked alongside several primary schools in Gloucestershire and have developed a strong skill set. For the last 3 years I have been partly responsible for overseeing and teaching year 7 at a local secondary school. Our focus to drive reading, writing and oracy skills, a curriculum praised by Ofsted.

My teaching background has seen me lead a successful department, manage a successful team, as well as working alongside both primaries and secondary schools across Gloucestershire.

I know how to ensure that students enjoy learning and make sure all sessions incorporate meaningful learning and fun.

I would ideally be able to tutor at home due to child care but on particular evenings I am able to travel to local areas please see availability for further information.
