My journey in education began in the schools of Milton Keynes, where I discovered my calling for working with young minds. My commitment lies in empowering young individuals who face learning challenges and helping them realise their potential.

Experience: I bring a diverse range of experiences to my teaching practice. My educational foundation was solidified as I completed my PGCE (Secondary) with the Bath Spa University. I embarked on a fulfilling journey in mainstream schools across Cornwall, including my involvement with an OFSTED ‘Outstanding’ school. This exposure has allowed me to teach a variety of Key Stages, equipping me with a well-rounded understanding of the developmental needs of students at different points in their education.

Moreover, I`ve been privileged to share my enthusiasm for GCSE English literature. My dedication extends beyond the classroom, having collaborated with the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company. My association with them led me to complete a foundation certificate in teaching Shakespeare, enriching my pedagogical approach with innovative techniques.

In my teaching, I strive to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where each student can thrive. With a strong foundation in educational theory and a genuine passion for helping students overcome challenges, I am committed to fostering a love for English and literature while guiding my students toward their academic goals.
