Information about Aryan
With a PhD in cancer biology and experience in teaching students at various levels (including university and secondary school), I am happy to offer my services to those in need of some focused learning, revision and exam training for biology at secondary school level.
I enjoy helping others to learn and understand ideas, individually tailoring methods to help engage students. For A-level, I also prepare interactive PowerPoint presentations which facilitate the regular study sessions, and which I email to my students to assist them with their own revision.
I am happy to make an initial visit free of charge to discuss topics to be covered, times for regular sessions, etc.

Experience: I have a PhD in Cancer Studies, an MSc with Distinction in Cancer Biology and a BSc in Biomedical Science (with Honours [2.1]).
My teaching experience includes: A-Level and GCSE Biology tutoring, facilitating classes at undergraduate university level, and demonstrating laboratory techniques to MSc students.
I also won first prize in the oral presentation of my research in an internal conference at Kingston University, demonstrating my ability to present ideas legibly and engagingly.
I am currently working as a Immuno-oncology Scientist in Edinburgh.

My son enjoys his lessons and his understanding on each topics were broadened with better understanding. According to my son, Dr Aryan is very well prepared and far better than his school teacher!

My son needed assistance with several topics in A Level Biology. We found Aryan to be very professional, knowledgeable, punctual and friendly. My son at first was reluctant to have a tutor, but after only one lesson, he could already see the benefit. Aryan helped my son enormously and has managed to enable him to achieve his required Biology grade to get into his first choice of University:)
