Sunil

Sunil is a multi-modality, highly skilled practitioner with wide ranging cross-sector experience over 27 years around English and Maths. He has excellent proven abilities in teaching, training, coaching, assessment, research, consultancy, leadership and management. Sunil has worked in the Post-16 sector, Schools, Higher Education, Voluntary and Community and Offender Learning. As a trained English & Maths teacher, he delivers high-quality training courses for practitioners and develop training packages from KS1-KS4 and 11+/common entrance exams. As an examiner for the English Speaking Board (ESB) for Speech, Language and Debating qualifications, Sunil has worked in a range of independent, state, preparatory and senior schools and colleges across the UK. As a qualified practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Life Coaching and Hypnotherapy (ACCPH accredited/Student Finalist 2019, Life Practice UK), he also supports clients with mental health issues which impact on teaching, learning, work, business and general well-being. He has produced many podcasts on developing the subconscious mind, growth mindset and appeared as a guest speaker on ‘Biz Breakfast’ (LinkedIn) and the Sikh Channel.

Sunil also have proven skills in E-Learning and developed video-based courses on platforms such as Kajabi and Udemy and created a range of electronic resources and quizzes to support teaching and learning. Alongside spiritual and philanthropic pursuits, Sunil is also a committed parent of two, very capable grown up children; playing an instrumental role in their academic and professional success. He was also a parent governor at an ‘OFSTED Outstanding’ school. As a person of faith, Sunil has volunteered in his Sikh temple for many years and delivered training courses to GCSE and A Level Panjabi teachers. Sunil is also am also a keen trekker and enjoys the great outdoors. He loves reading books on spirituality, personal development, psychology and philosophy and enjoys cooking for family and friends.

Experience: I am a fully qualified and highly experienced teacher of English and Maths for over 27 years. I have taught in schools, colleges and universities across the UK; hence I have worked with all age groups, capabilities and needs. I can teach from Key Stage up to GCSE in Maths and up to A-level in English, including 11+ common entrance exams. I am a freelance consultant, trainer and developer. As well as having three Master`s level qualifications (including MA), I am also DELTA qualified (Level 7) with 22 years of post-DELTA experience. I have extensive experience of using digital technology for teaching and training, including webinars, content creation (goconqr) and developing online courses.I am also a qualified NLP Therapist/Life Coach and have my own online business running - www.life-genius where I have created numerous online courses and products. My teaching repertoire is extensive and also includes running courses in personal development, staff development, coaching, mentoring, leadership and management.I am highly flexible and can adapt myself to any educational project. I have superb, all round communication skills and well versed in functional IT packages and use an up to date Mac Book to undertake all of my online work. I also teach English online for iTutor Group and looking towards expanding my online teaching portfolio.
