I am an experienced teacher in schools and an AQA examiner. I am a friendly and out going person who knows all the tips to pass exams.

Experience: 18 years as a teacher. I have been Head of MFL, Second in Department and Head of Spanish. I did my PGCE at Edge Hill, Lancaster University and my degree is from Leeds University. Ruth replied to my first enquiry very quickly - good communication. My daughter is finding the lessons very helpful and is gaining a lot of confidence.
Ruth is very welcoming, friendly, approachable and has a great teaching style.

My son decided to do Spanish GCSE several weeks into the curriculum so he had lots of catching up to do.
Ruth provided excellent tuition, support and encouragement.
Her bubbly and friendly personality put my son at ease immediately and he gained so much knowledge and confidence with just the one hour per week that Ruth tutored him. She made the lessons fun and interactive and my son really looked forward to her weekly visits.
Thanks to Ruth my son gained an excellent GCSE Grade and we cant thank her enough
