I have over thirty years experience within this sector and have now taken early retirement.
Teaching is still my passion, so I still do a small amount of supply work.
I mark SATS papers and English GCSE papers so am very up to date with what the examiners are looking for in an answer.

My daughter loved being tutored by Michelle. She was kind and enthusiastic, really helping my daughter gain confidence before her English Lit and English GCSEs. Michelle took time to help her understand the texts and what the examiners were looking for. She was particularly good at helping my daughter understand the context around the text and analysing Shakespeare. Highly recommended. A really lovely tutor.

Michelle is a fantastic tutor, she has been helping my daughter with her mock exams for GCSE`s. My daughter has really enjoyed and benefitted from her sessions with Michelle and I can highly recommend her.

My son had been struggling with both English Language and Literature in mock exams and his timing on questions. He also has ADHD so we needed to find a tutor who could help him. We fell very lucky to get Michelle. She`s had such a positive impact on our son. First, getting to know him and understand how his mind works and then secondly helping him to understand the subject matter in a way that he gets. We saw an improvement straight away and his school teacher even emailed me to let me know. He really enjoyed the lessons with Michelle and was enthusiastic about the work he had done. He`s now nearly finished all his English exams and was a lot more confident going in to them. We hope he gets the grades his hard work deserves, but also would like to thank Michelle for being such a positive influence on him.
