Qualified primary teacher with strengths in maths, English, reading and science.

I believe children should enjoy what they learn. That`s why I strive to make the art of learning exciting and enjoyable through relevance and well designed teaching and resources. That way progress is easy and significant.

I have other interests in music (guitar and singing), carpentry, environmental issues and many more. These have been learnt through vast experiences in work and recreation.

I can offer guitar lessons (electric and acoustic guitar).

Availability: Weekday evenings and weekends.

Experience: Experience of working with children aged 5 to 11 in KS1 and KS2, specialising in upper KS2 (years 5 and 6) and preparation for SATs. Experience of teaching maths, English and reading based on the year 5 and 6 curriculum. Taught phonics to year 1 and 2.

Have been employed full time as a teacher and part time as a supply teacher.

Experience of working in jobs outside of education in environmental science, medical science and construction.
