review(s) for Carmen.
My daughter has had weekly lessons with Carmen since September 2017 in preparation for her A-level. Carmen is really enthusiastic and very good at understanding my daughters needs. Her conversational Spanish has hugely improved, they read articles, analyze poetry... I would highly recommend Carmen.
Amazing tutor. I highly recommend.
Energetic and reliable Spanish native speaking tutor.
Carmen brings a lot of enthusiasm to the lessons. I can tell that she is passionate about teaching. This translates in terms of both her understanding of the technical grammatical ways in which language is used and formed, and her eagerness to get across some of the more subjective areas related to the study of languages. Such as differences in culture or the way languages are used in other environments.
Carmen has been flexible both in arranging a timetable to suit my busy schedule. But also in adapting our lessons to suit my style of learning and to best compliment any work i do outside of the lessons. She is always well prepared and brings a good variety of different activities from a wide range of medias.
