I have consistently used my core skills as a teacher in a wide range of scenarios which in turn, continues to inform and enrich my current teaching activities - for example:

* I led my own consultancy (1998-2002) specialising in Press/PR; event organisation; fundraising & marketing; website design - & more.
* I was a co-founder and trustee of "Mailflight" (1995-2001) - giving free consultancy in Press/PR and fundraising to this Royal Mail-based charity that provided educational holidays of a lifetime in Canada and the USA for young people with Special Needs (ages 14-18)
* Throughout the last 10 years, I have also combined my experience as a professional Reiki therapist to create "CoolFire" - holistic wellbeing programmes that I`ve delivered to a very wide range of schools & organisations throughout the UK & Europe (See "Experience")

Experience: As a qualified teacher (QTS), I have gained a wide range of experience over 30 years - including:

* Oxford tutorial colleges
* 10 years as a classroom teacher (2001-10) at Manningtree High School, Essex (Secondary). Subjects taught included: History: RE: ICT: Drama: PSHE: Sociology
* Special Schools and Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* The delivery of 400+ "CoolFire" workshops to c.3,500+ school staff & c.8,500 students (ages 3-18+). I created the CoolFire therapeutic programmes and workshops designed to develop whole-school Emotional Literacy, positive mental health and holistic wellbeing. I also created an extensive range of supporting resources
* Supply Teaching - mainly in primary schools across Essex and Suffolk
* Home tutoring - predominantly Key Stage 2 Maths and English
