My name is Debbie and I have recently moved back to my native Northumberland after spending the past 22 years living and teaching in Sheffield and Derbyshire. I feel that every young person deserves the opportunity to achieve their full potential and feel proud of their accomplishments. Often, just a little extra help, guidance and specialist expertise is required on the path to success and that is hopefully where I can assist you. You may find one aspect of your course difficult, need help with a non-exam assessment or require support with revising for G.C.S.E. or A level English exams. Whatever your requirements may be, do get in touch; I will arrange an initial meeting to ensure we are all happy to proceed.

Experience: I have taught English in two 11-18 secondary schools and a sixth form college in both Sheffield and Derbyshire. Every year I have taught at least two G.C.S.E. classes and have been teaching A level English Language and A level English Literature for 21 years. Alongside my timetabled classes, I have worked with small groups of students and individuals who need additional support in preparation for exams.
