James had brilliant and really effective approach in the tutorials with my son, who needed help catching up on work he`d missed and understanding some key principles of this in Year 7. James was engaging, encouraging, and my son came out after four sessions during the holidays more confident than he has ever seemed with maths. He returned to school and achieved an A (1 mark off an A* actually) in his most recent test - so a fantastic result and we would definitely work with James again.

James is a great tutor. He helped my son with some rapid preparations for some key tests, and helped him to develop his understanding of a number of areas of maths. Communications were always good, and James would record all lessons and share the link after the lesson so that my son could revisit any topics that were covered. James also set work to be completed between lessons, marked it, and provided feedback.

James made himself available for my son at very short notice and was flexible to suit my son’s hectic schedule. James’s guidance was extremely helpful in the immediate run up to my son’s A level exams. I would highly recommend James. Friendly, flexible and most importantly great 1-2-1 tuition.

Amazing tutor, James has been tutoring my daughter ( a level maths ) for few months now and I can’t express how pleased we are with james and also her progress, all thanks to james. After the first lessons you automatically know he is a Very knowledgable tutor with years of skills. We have had other tutors for many subjects in the past but james is a amazing tutor , not only the method of teaching but his approach and years of teaching skills he puts forward in getting he best out of the student in a nice way. I have never seen such organised tutor, every lesson not only is he prepared but he also follows up afterwards with homework, and provides materials that students can come back to when it’s comes to revisions . This has really come handy for my daughter . My daughter was an in doubt about choosing maths for alevel but james method of teaching is next level. She enjoys it very well and always compliments how much she learns in lesson , things that takes few lessons in school they cover in lesson and is more detailed . Not only just learnings maths but also how to actually apply it when it comes to questions . She’s actually become one of the best in her class . We’re so lucky to have found james to tutor my daughter, looking forward to having him all the way to her final Alevel exams.
