Information about Kathryn
I am 33 years old. I am a Primary Teacher with full Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Early Years Education Studies. I am currently working for a teaching agency after recently coming off maternity leave in April. I currently live in Honington near Bury St Edmunds, but will soon be moving to the Norfolk near Kings Lynn.
I have a strong passion for educating young children and enjoy watching their confidence grow!
Availability: I am available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays.

Experience: I have worked with young children for many years, building my experience through nursery and school settings. I have up to 6 years experience of teaching young children aged from 4 to 7 since gaining Qualified Teacher Status. I have some experience of older primary children from years 3-6 but specialise more in Early Years.
I have worked with a wide range of abilities, where I have had to plan and teach to meet different needs, including Special Educational Needs on a one to one and class basis. As a Teacher, I work to ensure all children reach their full potential. I have experience in planning for lessons based around Maths, Literacy, as well as children`s interests from my Early Years experience that I feel children really enjoy and learn more confidently through. I am fully trained with phonics and have completed Read Write Inc training (Ruth Miskin). I have a wide experience or planning and assessing against the Early Years Foundation Framework, as well as the National Curriculum at KS1 level.
As a one to one tutor, I aim to put this experience towards being able to plan and further develop confidence in children to reach their full potential.
