Louisa

Hello! I`m Louisa and I`m a violinist currently studying for my masters degree at the Royal Northern College of Music under the tutelage of Cecily Ward and James Clark.

At the RNCM, I enjoy participating in projects with the Symphony, Chamber, Session, String and Opera orchestras. Earlier this year I had the opportunity to be involved in a concert with RNCM and members of the BBC Philharmonic.

I was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain from 2013 to 2015 with whom I performed at Sage Gateshead, Birmingham Symphony Hall, the Barbican, the Royal Festival Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin and the Royal Albert Hall as part of the BBC Proms.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking large quantities of Lasagne.

Experience: I am an enthusiastic, passionate teacher with experience of teaching privately. I am willing to teach beginners through to advanced players.

This year I worked at the Royal Northern College of Music`s Summer School for Strings, mentoring and playing alongside string students that are interested in applying to Conservatoires.
