Hi!

I`m Irene, a 4th year medical student at the University of Cambridge. I`m happy to tutor in Biology up to A-level and Chemistry up to GCSE, and to offer help regarding the UCAT (university admissions test for medical and dental students) and personal statement. I have experience of giving interview practice and general advice on applying to medical school; I`ve been through the same system that many of you are hoping to go through and managed to receive 4 offers for medicine and I also know how stressful and full of unknowns the whole process can be, so let my help make the application process easier.

Experience: I`ve tutored a number of A-level and GCSE students in Biology and Chemistry, with several of those students easily surpassing predicted school grades. I`ve also given advice on UCAS Personal Statements, as well as how to tackle the UCAT- a previous student hugely improved his score and made it into his first choice medical school! I have also offered interview prep (simulating both MMIs and the more traditional Oxbridge style interview) and I give students feedback on improving both their verbal/ non-verbal communication as well as how to clearly structure answers.
