My name is Kian and I`m a versatile, hardworking and competitive Civil Engineer graduated with a masters degree (MSc) from Surrey university with an outstanding academic background and a strong work ethic with nearly 5 years of experience in teaching and private tutoring of Math up to University level.

As a Tutor, my main job is to make the topic in hand as interesting as possible so that a deep interest grows from the roots. This can be achieved through a deep understanding of the subject and problem-solving. The most challenging part of my job is to break down topics into manageable pieces to result in an exponential learning curve. It is only through examples, exercises and past papers that a subject becomes clear and a keen interest is a bi-product of it.

I`m extremely passionate about education and in my point of view, the world would be a better place with educated and informed individuals. I explain most complicated mathematical problems simply and repeatedly to the pupils without giving up on their capabilities.

• Expert in tutoring core mathematics and further mathematics to GCSE/Foundation year students as a private tutor.
• Observed and evaluated number of students every student’s academic performance throughout the academic year.
• Improved my students overall performance in mathematics by the average of 20%.
• I have also been involved in teaching/demonstrations of Building Surveying, AutoCAD and Civil Engineering Laboratory classes as well as co-supervising second and third year students to write their final year project report (dissertation report).
