I have a Masters degree in English from Queen`s University, Belfast and a certified teaching qualification. I am also trained to work with students who have dyslexia. I taught at South Eastern Regional College in Bangor. I am very experienced and have been tutoring privately for the past thirteen years.

Availability: I am available most early evenings and some afternoons too. I can be contacted online if there are any problems. I liaise with each student and fees include any preparatory work for the sessions. Whilst I prefer that the student drives their learning needs, I ensure that they are prepared and aware of the requirements of the course (AO`s) and explain exam preparations and techniques to ensure that s/he has the best chance to succeed.

Experience: I have been teaching in the FE environment for the past ten years. I am qualified to teach English AS and A2 and GCSE English Language and Literature. I am also qualified to work with students who have dyslexia.
As a private tutor, I have a general knowledge of what is required by each element of the assessments.
Most of the students that I have worked with have experienced success, including pulling up grades.
