I am an experienced primary school teacher looking to enhance children’s learning and help them achieve. I have lots of tutoring experience as I set up my business in 2021.

I am kind and gentle and love building up children’s confidence in their subject. My pupils love sharing their success at school where they have got a certificate or moved into expected level for the subject. I am patient and will let the child lead the way where they are reluctant to engage and they are in control.

I have a cat who features heavily in discussions as building a trusting relationship with your child is so important. My students love seeing what she has been up to over the week.

Experience: I was a primary school teacher for 20 years working across the primary phase. I started tutoring in 2021 and have supported many pupils make rapid progress.

I specialise in Maths and getting the foundations right as where pupils have missed out on key concepts, I fill in those gaps which then supports them make progress. I have helped children working below age related to get working above expected level in Y6. I use practical equipment to reinforce learning and make it meaningful.
