Hi, ciao, hola! My name is Ilenia and I am a whole heartedly passionate Italian, living in north London. I have a great enthusiasm for teaching my native language and all that goes with my culture. I have specialised in Spanish as second/foreign language and also I lived and studied in Salamanca, Spain. After studying Latin and ancient Greek for 5 years, I achieved a first-class honours degree in Foreign Languages and Literature and, only recently, a MA in International Liaison and Communication at the University of Westminster.
Availability: Weekday daytime and evenings. Weekends
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have been teaching to all ages for the past five years as a private teacher/tutor. To start, my first step would be to understand what my students needs are and to meet these, do an initial assessment to ascertain their language competence level. This would help me to structure the lesson according to the students needs and wants. I believe I am a very approachable person able to structure an interactive, productive and pleasant lesson from beginners, to advanced, undergraduates and casual learners. My past students have all appreciated my dedication, friendliness coupled to the ability to build a rapport to be able to better understand them.
