Paul - Mathematics Teacher

I graduated from the University of Salford in 1984 with a BSc Mathematics (Division 1) degree. My professional career has been divided between technical and management roles in the IT sector and teaching Mathematics. I have taught Mathematics for more than thirty years with students seeking GCSE Mathematics and A-Level Mathematics qualifications and spent five years developing strategies to teach Mathematics for students diagnosed with severe learning difficulties.

In January 2016, I was inducted into The Royal Statistical Society as a Teacher Member (Membership Number 128096) by Professor Ray Hill.
I have achieved very satisfying results for a wide range of different but special students.
My strategy for success is based upon passion for the subject, sound subject knowledge, exam techniques, enthusiasm, fun, building confidence and working as hard as possible.

Following significant curriculum changes in 2017, studying GCSE & A Level Mathematics has become more difficult for students in the UK.


But with clear course strategy, excellent subject knowledge and teaching practice that persists with compassion and encouragement, students can believe and realise their potential in order to achieve their goals and dreams.

Sat - 09:00 - 22:00 (about 30 Saturdays a year)
