Hello! I am a second year medical student at the University of Nottingham, having previously graduated in biochemistry with a first-class honours at the University of York. I would describe myself as a kind, fun and patient person, with a passion for learning and teaching. I prefer to teach the sciences, namely chemistry and biology, but I also speak French and can assist in this subject too.

Availability: Evenings and Weekends

Experience: I have tutored degree level biochemistry and have covered A Level biology and chemistry. This and my experience of 1:1 support with students from the age of 11 to the age of their early 20s means that I am experienced in tutoring a range of students, and know that it is something I enjoy doing.

I have in the past set up two mentoring schemes: firstly a mentoring programme for year 7 students, where myself and other volunteers provided reading, general academic and emotional support. Secondly was much more recently, where I organised an award winning scheme which myself and other second and third year undergraduates provided 1:1 support for first year students with course-material in biology or chemistry.
