I am currently a Year 4 teacher at Cobham Free School and have been teaching for 3 years prior to my current job, (mainly in lower KS2 and upper KS1). I always keep my students fully engaged in lessons by offering fun and exciting ways to learn. I have an excellent rapport both with the students I teach and adults I work with. I often use visual stimulus to enhance children`s imaginations in literacy lessons and use lot`s of fun games to secure children`s understanding of the English grammar. I break maths concepts down into simple and clear steps to help children understand the basics. I taught for 2 years in an international school in Tanzania so have extensive knowledge of working with children who have English as an additional language.
I would be willing to tutor any child in years 2-6 (aged 6-11)

Availability: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm and weekends any time.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have provided tutoring to children aged 6-9 across English and Maths, supporting their learning in the English National Curriculum.
