I am an experienced Mandarin teacher with over 8 years of experience helping students learn Mandarin. In addition to living and working in China for the past 12 years I have an undergraduate degree in Mandarin (modern and classical) from SOAS.

I have worked with learners of all age groups and ability levels and believe that with the right approach speaking Mandarin is a possibility for everyone.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching Mandarin and tailor my approach for each student`s particular needs and goals. As a learner of Mandarin as a foreign language I understand the pitfalls and struggles of learning Mandarin as a native English speaker and can help pre-empt issues before they arise.

Availability: I am available both online and in person.

Experience: In addition to teaching Mandarin I have worked in China for a number of years both at The British Embassy and at the Chinese National Television Station.

I believe that speaking Chinese is a possibility for all and adapt teaching methods to each individual student`s needs.
