As a qualified university tutor, I use several teaching techniques mixed with my good sense of humour to make learning more engaging. I am approachable, friendly, and honest. With these personal qualities, I believe students will be more confident to ask questions and engage better during lessons.

I assess my student`s ability by giving out past exam questions, and from their performance, I can decipher their strengths and weaknesses. I deal with their weak points by explaining the subject in real-life terms and setting up classwork where I participate with them and give out homework to get them used to the topic.

I have experience tutoring Maths and Physics for Primary SATs, 13+, KS3, GCSE, and A-level. I am confident in my ability to plan and deliver outstanding lessons in line with student`s curriculum and examination boards.

Availability: Tuesdays to Thursdays from 5pm onward.

Experience: Between February 2018 and now, I have spent time as both a private tutor and as a lecture assistant in Liverpool John Moores University. I have worked with students with learning disabilities and kids/adults of any age range. The contrast between this university and my private tutoring sessions is significant – I found that a greater variety of techniques of teaching were used across ability brackets.
