Information about Katie
I`m Katie! I`m a tutor who has completed a Masters in Medicine, Science and Society from King`s College London. I love to read and learn - which is something that I aim to pass on to others especially my students. My aim is to equip my students with the skills they will need to succeed throughout life starting with exams.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss how I can help! It would be helpful to know what exam board the subject is in if it is in preparation for an exam. Please note that I only teach Primary in years 5 and 6.
A DBS certificate is available to view on request.
I offer time slots that are a minimum of 1 hour per subject and online lessons are available.
Availability: Please do get in touch for availability as this will vary. Half terms, holidays and exam period will differ.
*Please note that I do not travel to student`s homes but I am able to offer some online lessons where appropriate*
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have assisted teachers in a class setting since I was 15. I have also had experience teaching one-to-one with different ages and abilities from primary to A level. I have tutored children through this website (testimonials are available) but many are recommended. I have experience with teaching both Foundation and Higher levels for GCSE and boosting confidence for students changing stages (e.g. Primary to Secondary school).
