Information about Sophie
I offer general Science to all ages, Combined Science GCSE, GCSE/iGCSE Triple Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Human Biology and A Level Physics.
I have an intimate knowledge of the exam requirements and focus my lessons on content revision with a large focus on exam technique.
I have a 100% success rate in helping my students attaining or exceeding their target grades.
Having spent 9 years in the classroom I set up a home tutoring business in 2015. My current cohort is a mixture of Yr 10 and 11 as well has homeschooled* students.
I offer lessons in person in my home based classroom or online, and can offer discounted rates for groups.
*Homeschooled students able to have lessons in the mornings can request a discounted rate

My daughter has just started year 11 September this year, and Sophie is tutoring her through GCSE Biology. After just four lessons, I have noticed an improvement in my daughters knowledge and focus, which is very reassuring to see. . Therefore I`m confident that Sophie will be able to help her achieve a good pass grade next year when she sits her exam.

My daughter`s only had a couple of sesssions but is already noticeably more confident and I am sure that these classes will make a big difference to her result. Sophie`s been easy to deal with, quick communications etc, too.

Sophie is a wonderful human being with a sharp intellect and a brilliant way of making my daughter feel at ease, interested and listened to. She is trustworthy and thorough and has a friendly and welcoming approach. I would recommend her without reservation.
