As a teacher, parent and tutor I know how challenging the exam period and process can be. My aim as a tutor is to help you achieve the highest grade possible: it may just a case of ironing out areas of concern with exam technique or subject content, or simply reinforcing knowledge with various retention techniques.
We can work either on Teams remotely or if you are local, face to face. Obviously I have full DBS.
Finally, I hope my sessions are enjoyable and importantly useful; I believe that a student should always finish a session having learned something new.

Availability: Saturday and Sunday mornings online
Weekdays from 3.30 to 7pm
I realise A level students have fee afternoons and free days so we can be flexible.

I have 37 years experience as teacher, Head of History, School Leader and examiner. I have taught most of the current exam boards both at GCSE and A level, written both A level coursework and mark schemes and led teams of GCSE History examiners.

I have taught both Politics and History to A level and tutored locally for A level candidates. I have taught GCSE history and as mentioned examined Tudor, German and International relations topics.
