I am a huge fan of language learning and teaching - and German is my passion!

I have been teaching German for over thirteen years and have nearly six years of German private tutoring experience, having previously worked for seven years as Head of German at an outstanding secondary school. I am experienced in tutoring across a very wide age and ability range - from primary level to retired adults, tutoring for GCSE, A-level and degree level exams, or simply for pleasure.

I am an enthusiastic, well-organised, creative and supportive teacher. I relish the opportunity to help students achieve their goals, whatever they may be. I thrive on the kick I get from having successfully delivered a well planned lesson, tailored to individual needs, knowing that my students are making excellent progress and enjoying their learning experience.

Experience: I graduated with a first class Honours degree from the University of Exeter and went on to complete my PGCE at the University of Reading in 2009. I then completed my initial teacher training at an outstanding secondary school, where I continued to become Head of German and Assistant Head of Year 11.

Since leaving my full time position to become a private tutor, I have tutored across the age and ability spectrum, from Key Stage Three to adults, but mainly those at GCSE and A-level.
