Information about Alison
I am a professional piano, keyboard and singing teacher, I teach in Blackburn town centre. I am a University graduate with a 2:1 BA (HONS)degree from Salford University in Music. I have been teaching for over 8 years now. I teach children from 5 years old to adults. I also teach piano and singing from beginners upward. I have excellent knowledge on music theory. I can assist with GCSE music and A Level music. Ideally students will come to me in Blackburn town centre I have my own room with my own piano and keyboard. However I may consider travelling to my students.
Availability: Monday to Saturday including evenings.
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: I have been teaching, piano, keyboard and singing privately for over 8 years. I have worked with children in the past. I was a classroom assistant for Kumon, helping children with Maths and English. I have also worked as a youth worker for Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council passing on music skills in a more informal manner.
