Hi there,
I am a science teacher and I am from South Africa. I have been teaching science for 3 years now and I am completely in love with it! I am full of energy, passion and thoroughly enjoy solving scientific problems and conducting experiments.
I completed my qualifications in South Africa and now I am going through my QTS program. I have Bachelors degree in Science, along with a PGCE and a Diploma in Management. I have taught at a range of different schools gathering invaluable experience with different types of learners. I am currently teaching in the UK and interested in a summer job to assist those students who are worried/panicked about going back in September.
Normally, my lessons are creative and engaging; I will challenge the student and we will have educational discussions about the work. Where possible, we will conduct experiments to emphasise a theory and formulate a comprehensive answer. I believe it is crucial to allow the student to figure out the concept while I am there guiding and assisting where necessary. I look forward to hearing from you!

Experience: I have a range of experiences in the educational industry. These vary from full-time teaching to 1-on-1 tutoring. I feel my diverse background and experiences allow me to be creative and adaptive when I teach or tutor.
I began my educational career in 2016 where I was a student teacher studying to become a teacher. Here, I taught small groups and also tutor some students after school. Since then, I have been tutoring science to all age groups at school level. I am currently teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 learners at a local school.
I do feel my teaching characteristics have made me a better tutor! I look forward to hearing from you!
