Information about Laura
I am an experienced secondary English Teacher in both English Language and English Literature. I have a passion for teaching pupils and tailor my lessons specifically to the students` needs in order to help them reach their full potential.
I love inspiring young people and my aim is to not only encourage them and to make them feel confident within the subject, but for them to enjoy learning and have a love of reading.
Availability: I am available Monday to Friday

Experience: I have a PGCE in English and I have taught in Hampshire Secondary schools; currently in my sixth year. I have had experience in KS3 and KS4 Sixth Form (Creative Writing). Also, I have a secure knowledge of the AQA new specification for Year 10 and Year 11 and I have an excellent understanding of this.
I am an AQA examiner for the new specification in English Language and I have marked exams since 2018.
I have experience tutoring pupils for the following exam boards: AQA, Edexcel, Eduqas and iGCSE.
