With over four years of tutoring experience, all A/A* grades at A-level and GCSE, and having worked with a variety of different agencies, I am able to provide effective tuition at affordable rates. The methods I adopt have been refined over many years. Theory is taught through real life examples and simplified explanations, and once firmly established, consolidated with repeated questions. I place a strong emphasis on exam technique, believing many capable students fail, not due to insufficient knowledge, but failure to apply this knowledge effectively.

A background in volunteering locally and abroad has given me the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds across all ages.

I excel at expressing complex concepts simply and can give valuable intuition on how results are reached, not only giving students the right answers, but training them to achieve these answers independently.

At university I was social secretary and vice captain of the rugby club, a weekly volunteer tutor at a local school and a member of the college football team. All these activities have contributed towards a fun, engaging personality, which I aim to bring to the sessions.

Availability: Available 7 days a week, morning and evening, precise times can be arranged over the phone.

Experience: Over the past 4 years I have operated as a tutor in the local area, preparing pupils for GCSE, A-level and university examinations. As a recent graduate I am able to give up to date advice on how best to perform in public examinations. I can also outline the pros and cons of difficult decisions that all students face on A-level choices and University decisions.
