Information about Tadas

I am a PhD student at Cambridge University with background in physics and am a passionate teacher! I have taught a number of people the courses they were struggling with and built their confidence to do excellent in the coming exams.

If you have any difficulties, fears or black holes in mathematics or physics, I am here to help you! I will share my enthusiasm for Science and make everything as simple as it is! I am also very happy to let you know how one should work in a disciplined manner and achieve the highest marks throughout your life at school and university. Do not hesitate to contact me!

My research interests cover acoustic resonators, micro-fluidics and protein aggregation, but my major efforts are focused on building advanced scientific research methods and instrumentation. Currently, I am developing bio-sensor technologies for fast, label-free, ultra-sensitive biomolecule detection.

Outside academia, I relax while playing basketball, cooking and dancing tango. During the undergraduate years,I was the Sponsorship Liaison at the Cambridge University Physics Society and helped the Committee to organise various social events.

Availability: 7 days a week.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have taught courses given by various exam boards for more than 300 hours. The courses include but are not limited to Mathematics, Physics, Mechanics, Statistics, Further Mathematics and Chemistry. What is more, I am now teaching mathematics to Cambridge university undergraduate 1st year students and have helped a number of 2nd year undergraduate Physics students to prepare for their IB exams.

To finish with, I have experience of giving science outreach talks to students who are not specialists. The classes and workshops I have given include fractals and the future of nanotechnology.
