Hi there! I`m a recent History graduate from the University of Cambridge, and am able to provide tutoring in History and English Literature for GCSE and A-Level students, as well as general advice and guidance on applying for university - such as with interview prep and personal statements.

As someone who has very recently graduated from the education system, I am able to provide advice from my own experiences of revising, studying and preparing for exams and essays. My approach is dependent on individual needs - for example, I can provide both formal essay feedback or more informal chats which are especially helpful when preparing for university applications. I found that having a tutor to chat about my subject with was really helpful when applying for university, as it widened my general knowledge and deepened my interest beyond the curriculum.

I am happy to provide a free first lesson, during which we can discuss your needs and expectations so that I can prepare for our lessons accordingly. Tutoring is not a one-way relationship so I place importance on establishing an open dialogue where I can learn what works best for you, so that I can fill any gaps and support you alongside your formal studies at school.

Additionally, I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese and can provide conversational English lessons to children from China coming to the UK and trying to learn the language. I have experience teaching at an English summer camp at 人;;大;;附;;中;;, and am happy to provide support in this capacity.

Availability: Weekdays, after 5pm - though there is flexibility if needed.

I am very capable academically, achieving 11 A*s at GCSE, 4 A*s in History, English Literature, Maths and Further Maths at A-Level, and a high 2:1 in History at university.
