Hi, my name is Ryan and I`m a first-year student reading Economics at Sidney Sussex College, University of Cambridge.

With 12A*s at GCSE, 5A*s at A-Level and a place to study Economics at Cambridge I believe I am in an academically strong position to help students compete for the top grades and maximise their potential. Additionally, having sat my A-Level exams less than a year ago, I am fortunate to have done the new updated linear A-Level exams meaning I have a wealth of knowledge and hand-crafted up to date resources such as essay plans, exam techniques, methods and exam practice specific to the new syllabuses and exam styles.

About my sessions:

Economics
I tutor Economics at GCSE /A Level (having attained A*s at GCSE and A Level). Whilst sessions will be tailored to individual needs, in general sessions will involve perfecting content knowledge, mastering exam and essay techniques, creating essay plans as well as an option for marking essays.

Maths/Further Maths
Having sat GCSEs, A Levels, Cambridge entrance exams and Cambridge Maths Exams (attaining the top grades in all exams), I have a very strong mathematical acumen. There are skills and tips I have picked up throughout my academic career and I aim to use these in my sessions to help my students. Whilst sessions will be tailored to individual needs, in general sessions will involve perfecting content knowledge, learning new exam techniques and practicing carefully selected questions to practice certain techniques.

Oxbridge Preparation
Having attained an offer from the University of Cambridge to study Economics, I am of apt ability to help other students see the same fate. Sessions will include learning, practicing and mastering techniques and for the ECAA admissions test and interview. I also offer mock interviews and personal statement help.

Experience: My experience in mentoring and tutoring is vast having tutored many pupils in the past, in turn allowing me to have developed a thorough understanding of how best to prepare and deliver tutorials based upon individual students’ needs and requirements.
