About Me:

Over the summer of 2020 I achieved a 2:1 with honours in my masters in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. My five years of study also included a 12 month internship at L`Oréal UKI, which helped me to understand the ins and outs of working in a corporate environment. I have recently veered off this path and decided to apply for undergraduate Dentistry at university. I have chosen the subjects I feel most comfortable teaching and ones that I can also offer insights into beyond the curriculum.

How I Approach Tutoring:

My teaching methods will be tailored to the needs of the student but personally, I am a very visual learner so I will try to incorporate diagrams into everything that I teach. I will not only ensure the whole curriculum is covered but that confidence in the subject is high by the time exams roll around. Mistakes will be celebrated as an opportunity to learn and get better, If there is a particular area that is challenging then I will focus on this more to ensure the best chance of success at exams.

On top of the subjects I teach I can offer advice on applying to university, applying for internships/ spring weeks and doing various aptitude tests such as the UCAT and BMAT. Throughout my time at university I have been a member of various sports, recreational and volunteering societies so I can offer my experiences on these as well.

Experience: I have achieved a 2:1 (with honours) in a 4-year Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (MEng) degree and have done an intercalated year in industry working at L`Oreal UKI as a commercial analyst.
