Online as well
Please email me any queries.
Availability: Weekday evenings & Sundays, but call/email for exact times and days as occasionally I have parents evenings etc to attend in my professional capacity as Head of Art at a leading independent school (recent Art A-level results include (A/A*) 58% above the national average).
Most tutoring sessions are preferably carried out at my home due to the ease of access to art materials, equipment and internet access, however it is possible for me to attend a tutees home if required but this could entail an additional travel fee dependent on distance.
I am able to attend areas around North East Hertfordshire and West Essex, including but not limited to Bishops Stortford, Harlow, Epping, St Albans, Hatfield & Hitchin.
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: First class BA Hons Contemporary Applied Art,
16 years teaching Experience,

Ceramic artist in own right. Exhibited in a large number of group exhibitions.
Since the beginning of my teaching career I have helped to build up a highly successful department and boast some of the best results for Art in the country.
In recent years my students have celebrated much success. Since 2013 my students have achieved 42% Level 9 at GCSE with 100% of the cohort (45+ students each year) achieving 9-5. Additionally in the same teaching years my A LEVEL students have achieved 81% A*-A. This average mark includes the summer of 2018 which takes into account the new reformed A level course. These results are significantly above the national average.
My GCSE Students in the summer of 2019 achieved 81% 9-7
Students who I have taught have been shortlisted as one of the 20 finalists in national competitions such as the Saatchi student prize (2013) and The National Textile Competition (2015), National Film awards (2015) and The Royal Academy online/onsite A`level & Young Student prize (2016 + 2019).
