Over the one and a half years I`ve had Lewis as my chemistry tutor, he`s helped me transform my grade in chemistry from a high D/low C into an A* - my final grade for the course this summer (2022). His style of teaching is excellent; utilising an interactive online whiteboard program called `IDroo`. Initially I feared that our sessions would be like one of the online lessons that I had suffered through during lockdown, however, I quickly came to realise Lewis` exemplary capabilities in making our sessions engaging and informative - making me slightly envious of his school students! Not only does he provide an excellent standard of teaching, but Lewis gave me tips on how to cope with the actual chemistry paper, which I found to be invaluable when sitting my three papers and no doubt contributed to my final grade. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

My daughter had Chemistry tuition with Lewis for about 4-5months leading up to her Chemistry A-Level exam. The tuition was excellent and delivered in a way that was perfect for her way of learning. Lewis communicated clearly and frequently and understood very quickly where my daughter needed additional support in the subject. Alice developed a even greater love for the subject through the lessons and gained a better understanding of how to work through exam questions. She would highly recommend Lewis. He taught chemistry to both my son and daughter.( GCSE,A/L) They did really well in their exams. Lewis`s teaching method and the approach were really fascinated by both of them. Lewis is a great tutor who goes through topics in great detail to make sure I understand. Often going beyond the specification to fully explain why something works the way it does.

He is always very enthusiastic and uses pictures and diagrams as a way to help me visualise concepts so that difficult topics seem easy.

He is very friendly and patient. I highly recommend him to anyone studying A-Level Chemistry.

Lewis is highly useful and an effective teacher. He supported me during my Chemistry A level and was able to help me with difficult concepts that we came across when regularly doing past papers.

He was always willing to help at any time of day no matter what the query and tailored his teaching to accomodate the things i struggled with.

Lewis has been helping me with my A-level Chemistry for quite a while now and he has proved how much of an incredible tutor he is, with me showing great improvement. He explains everything clearly and concisely and makes extremely difficult topics seem so easy. He is organised, flexible with adapting lessons to ensure my maximum progression, responds fast and is punctual. As a person he is absolutely wonderful to work with and he always gives more than he needs out of his natural care. For example, he often goes overtime to finish content we planned to get through or to answer all my questions and doesn`t ask for or expect any additional money. He does whatever he can to help. My interest for chemistry has been fuelled by him because he has made it so much easier and because he never fails to make this difficult subject enjoyable. Honestly, I have to say, he is better than my current school teachers and I think probably the best teacher I`ve ever had. I would highly recommend Lewis to anyone who is looking for a good tutor.
