I’m a fully qualified secondary Maths teacher with 15 years of teaching experience. I am passionate about student learning and offer a very understanding, calm and compassionate approach.

I am able to help IB students studying for the Higher Diploma; IGCSE, GCSE and A Level students.

Availability: I am available daytime and still have some evening slots for mainly online tuition.

Experience: 5 years classroom experience as a secondary teacher, together with a further 5 years’ 1:1 teaching experience, I am able to help with all aspects of secondary maths. I am passionate about teaching and learning mathematics, focussing on building student confidence by assessing student understanding, addressing gaps in knowledge and any misconceptions. Very often these gaps in understanding have led to students perceiving maths as a very difficult subject and by addressing this issue, students are able to move forward with confidence.
Formerly a Civil Engineer, I am able to provide meaningful context to the subject.
