I am a very motivated, hard working teacher, who is keen to enable pupils to achieve their best. I am experienced in helping pupils to build on their current level of understanding, and am adept in showing pupils a logical progression, equipping them to successfully solve problems and provide full, yet succinct explanations for scientific concepts. With many years of teaching to my name, I am familiar with many of the concerns pupils have in studying for external exams, and can help pupils to gain confidence and increase their expertise.

Availability: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Experience: I work as Head of Chemistry in a grammar school in North West Kent. I teach Chemistry to A level and have taught Biology to A level and Physics to GCSE level. My experience also includes working as an exam marker for Edexcel, both at A level and GCSE. I have taught since 1992, although I had some time away to raise a family. I returned to teaching in 2009 and took on my current role in 2011.
