Diana

Hello
I am a Mathematics graduate holding a BSc degree, offering tailored 1-to-1 home tuition for KS3 and GCSE students.
Whether your child is struggling with basic concepts, looking to boost their confidence, or aiming for better grades, I am here to help. Every session is adapted to the student`s unique learning pace, focusing closely on their specific areas for improvement.
In addition to mastering GCSE exam techniques and past papers, our main focus will be on deep understanding rather than just memorising formulas. I understand that maths can sometimes seem daunting, so I aim to break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps.
I believe that real motivation comes from a sense of achievement; when a student successfully solves a problem they previously found difficult, it naturally builds their confidence and drive to learn.

Availability: Monday - Friday: afternoon, after school, evening
some places at weekend

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: The best experience was when my student got a better mark than expected. Before teaching Maths I used to do private tutoring in modern foreign languages. I had success with a group of students who were "not Maths people".
