I am a qualified and experienced science teacher with a Masters in biotechnology. I can work with students of different abilities and needs and adapt my lessons to improve better understanding. I am experienced in teaching KS3 Sciences, KS4 biology and chemistry, A level biology and Btec Applied science. I have experience in teaching different exam boards like AQA, Edexcel and OCR. I teach all the abstract concepts in biology and chemistry in a more fun, relatable way so it is easy for students to understand.

Experience: 5 years of successful teaching experience in state comprehensive and selective school in Sutton. I use a varied range of formative assessments to identify students` misconceptions and gaps in knowledge, use retrieval practice to recall key concepts and practice past exam questions and teach essential exam techniques. Using short assessments to provide constructive feedback always helps students in identifying their mistakes and improve their work which translates into better grades.
