Hello, I`m Emily. I am 23 and graduated from the University of East Anglia in July 2013 with a First Class Masters in Mathematics. Mathematics was always my favourite subject throughout school and I studied both Maths and Further Maths at A-Level.

Availability: Weekday evenings and weekends.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I was employed by UEA’s mathematics department to peer guide group problem classes which involved supervising a group of 10-12 students. I have learnt to explain complex mathematical problems in a simple way to make questions easier to approach whilst encouraging teamwork and acting as a role model to younger students.

While at university I also joined UEA’s Volunteering in Primary Schools scheme in which I attended a local primary school once a week as a number partner.
