Hi! I am a 23 year old French & Spanish graduate who has 4 years experience tutoring. I received an A* in Spanish A Level and a 9 at GCSE, and an A in French A Level and a 9 in GCSE. I am keen to encourage students and help them build their confidence, no matter their level or learning style. I have experience tutoring in languages from ages 9-16 and also have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language qualification. I`m extremely familiar with the new specifications and know all the tricks to get those high grades! I have also completed my year abroad where I lived in France and Spain.

Experience: I have tutored on Tutorhunt, both online and face-to-face, for over two years. I help all kinds of students including those who are shy, or anxious about exams, particular oral exams. As a student myself, I understand what it is like to study languages and want to use my experience to help others achieve their potential.

Rosie is an amazing tutor! Rosie tutored my daughter Lauren through her Spanish GCSE. Rosie has an excellent understanding of how to prepare for the exams and helped Lauren identify and work through the areas of speaking, reading and writing she needed the most help with. Rosie built up a great rapport with Lauren, was very encouraging and supportive and explained things in a clear, understandable way. This was invaluable to Lauren, as she did not have a natural ability with languages and was particularly struggling with the speaking tasks. Lauren`s confidence in her ability in Spanish improved so much that she went from a predicted Grade 6 to achieving a Grade 9, which is testament to Rosie`s excellent teaching. I absolutely recommend Rosie to anybody looking to learn or improve their Spanish!

As head of the Spanish department I managed mentoring and organised competitions, open evenings, school trips etc. I have mentored students since year 10 alongside my own studies, in my free time.

I also have a TEFL qualification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) which enables me to teach English anywhere in the world, but also gives me knowledge and experience in teaching strategies. I have experience tutoring GCSE and KS2.
