I am a chartered chemist, having spent 25 years in industry, allowing me to bring real life experiences to my teaching.
I am married with two children at university, giving me a good insight into the support required to achieve the best outcomes.
My hobbies include squash, going to the gym, following the Rugby. I am a qualified RYA skipper, enjoying yacht racing throughout the summer.

Experience: I have had considerable success over the past 4 years tutoring A level Chemistry and the GCSE Science Chemistry Biology and Physics.

I have been teaching for 4 years, I have experience of teaching higher level Chemistry, Biology and Medical Science, plus GCSE Chemistry, Biology and Physics.

I have also taught higher level BTEC including Applied Science: Chemistry, Biology and Physics, Health and Social Care and ACCESS to univsersity courses.

I have taught at both Secondary School and Further Education College. I have been involved in UCAS Applications including preparation of personal statements and student references.

I am a Science Teacher with a relaxed and friendly approach , l work with students testing areas of weaknesses and developing subject knowledge and exam technique.
Students are taught using a range of techniques including , worksheets, video clips, past paper questions plus personal explanation of scientific concepts and advanced questioning.

I am able to help with all aspects of revision and revision timetables, ensuring you cover all the course details, which relate to all the aspects and requirements of the relevant specification.
