I have spent my working life focussing on the process of education. I am an educationalist who believes very strongly that anyone can improve. The boost in confidence that having someone there to scaffold your learning brings can be the difference between achieving your best or not fulfilling your potential.

I am driven for you to do your best but I am a strong believer in the idea that students tend to only get the best out of any tutoring situation if they feel confident and secure in the teacher-learner relationship.

Availability: Weekends and evenings

Experience: I have been teaching for 10 years with the last 2 of those as Head of Department. I have worked exclusively in within the independent sector, more specifically boarding schools, and I am a qualified teacher. I have experience of teaching those applying to Oxbridge but also those who may find learning difficult. I also have a Master`s in Education and I am currently studying for a Doctorate in Education with the University of Bristol.

I have experience of the full range of student needs, from those wanting to get the top grade to those who just want to pass. I have spent a lot of time looking at the process of learning and I am confident I can adapt my teaching style to any student`s learning style.
