For as long as I can remember I have always loved to learn and speak different languages. This has allowed me to travel and work overseas with confidence and conviction. Since leaving secondary school, I have lived and worked in three different counties, speaking in three different languages. By far my greatest passion has been my love of the German language and culture. My teaching qualifications have allowed me to work in different countries and this will always be one of the greatest highlights of my life so far. I have worked in several different fields of employment but teaching remains my greatest passion.

Availability: Immediately. I do have also a German CRB check.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I recently taught German as a second language to unemployed overseas citizens to enable them to enter the German job market. Many of my students required a high standard of German to enable them to enter specialist employment or to pass University entrance examinations. It is to my credit, that I taught them to a sufficient standard to enable this to happen.
Equally I have worked as part of the language department at Haberdashers` Aske`s Hatcham College in London. During this time, I believe I made a meaningful contribution, and passed on to others, my knowledge and love of the German language.
I have taught German to people of all ages. I have previously taught at Volkshochschule and the Montessori School. I have also taught children of nursery age.
Furthermore, as a mature applicant who has worked in the private and public sectors, both in Germany and the UK, I believe that I will bring additional life skills and experience to the role.
