¡Hola! My name is Diana and I come from Bogotá in beautiful Colombia. I have been living in London for 11 years.

I studied Social Communication and Journalism and then moved to sunny Barcelona to do a Master’s degree in H.R.

Since I can remember I have been passionate about people, cultures and languages. Whilst studying my degree in Colombia I had the amazing opportunity to work as a teacher for Berlitz Language Center and for The Autónoma University.

It was supposed to be a temporary job… However, I didn’t know I was going to love it SO MUCH to the point of wanting to do it for ever! Years later I moved to London and I started training as a Spanish Teacher.

I have worked as a Spanish teacher in organisations such as Berlitz Language Center-Bogotá, The Autónoma University -Bogotá and Battersea Spanish-London. I found it so rewarding I made it my career.

Spanish is very functional! It is the official language of 21 countries in the world with more than 500 million native speakers. No wonder why it is the most popular language to learn in the UK!

I am a completely bilingual person. I speak Spanish and English. Speaking Spanish allows me to understand Portuguese and a bit of Italian due to their similarity to Spanish.

To me languages are all about connecting with people. I have always strived to make learning memorable, fun and engaging. I consider myself a very positive, creative and energetic person who loves learning from and about people.

Being a Spanish teacher is more than a job to me. It is my true passion. I have felt through the years an immense joy not only transmitting what I know but foremost helping people achieve their goal which is learning Spanish.

Teaching has allowed me to interact with people from different backgrounds, ages and cultures which I truly love.
