I am passionate about teaching maths and love making a difference to people`s lives. I use a lot of humour when teaching and ensure that learners feel at ease so they are able to make progress.
I am currently teaching children who are struggling in school, learners working on their functional skills exams and GCSEs either in school or as part of an apprenticeship.


I have trained teachers on how to deliver GCSE maths and therefore have a good understanding of the difficulties learners have.
Throughout my career, I have worked with those who struggle with maths and English and believe everyone can achieve if they are willing!

Availability: Day time or evening

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I am an experienced teacher with over 30 years of teaching maths and English to adults and children.
I have experience of teaching individual learners and groups, working with learners with difficulties and disabilities including dyslexia and those for whom English is not their first language.
I also work as an adviser, training other maths teachers.
